Living the Park Surrounded by Nature: The Encampments

The high-mountain encampments give the opportunity to "experience the Park" at direct contact with nature.
Some encampments are always open, others are closed and guarded. In some cases, one part of the encampment is always accessible, while the other part is guarded (see the table below for details).
To access the guarded encampments it is necessary to be a member of Friends Dolomitipark, ask for the keys to the Park (mobile +39 328 6474429) and pay a sum of 5 € to use them (the fee is only 3 € for the residents in the Park Municipalities).
All the guarded encampments have stove and beds. There are non-guarded encampments by CAI or other Volunteer Associations.
The Visitor Centers and Park Offices provide detailed information on the encampments opening and access.
