The Park Authority is a "non-economic independent public body" whose activity is regulated by the Outline Law on Protected Areas: no. 394 of 1991.

The Park Authority has obtained the Iso 9001-14001 Certification;

The Park Authority consists of the following bodies:

5. The Park Community
The Park Authority is under the supervision of the Italian Ministry of the Environment.
