The valleys are the most typical morphological expression of the erosion activity carried out by watercourses.
Valleys are almost always complex systems, in which the erosive action of a watercourse, affecting only the riverbed and the river banks (lateral cutting and erosion) interacts with the degradation of the slopes (landslides, erosions, disintegration) leads to the morphological evolution of the valley slopes.
Among the river formations characterizing the landscape of the Park there are narrow ravines, waterfalls, and potholes.
