The Italian framework law on protected areas assigns a double function to the Parks: the first one is to preserve the natural resources, the second one is to promote a socio-economic development of the territory and of the local people through activities that respect the environment. Here you are going to find some of the Park’s most significant projects supporting activities which are sustainable from the economic and environmental point of view: from the maintenance of the traditional mountain agriculture to the promotion of the quality products; from the “light” tourism to the use of renewable energy sources.
