  • Departure: Val Nagaoni (1,188m)
  • Arrival: Rifugio Boz (1,718m)
  • Duration: 1 hour and 45′ climb only
  • Difficulty Level: E – Hiking (level)
  • Difference in height: 530m
  • Recommended Period: from June to September

From the car park, take the cart track identified by the CAI 727 sign which, with steep hairpin bends, crosses the woods on the orographic right of the valley. Going up, you can see the steep rock faces of the northern slopes of the Vette Feltrine on the right. At an altitude of 1,570 you leave the road, continuing on the right along the path, which descends on the bed of the stream and then climbs up with a last tug to the Boz refuge. From the refuge it is possible to climb, in about half an hour, to the Pass de Mura (1,867 m) from which you can enjoy a beautiful panorama of the Cimonega group and from where you can observe herds of chamois grazing.
To climb to the Boz refuge it is also possible to start from Val Canzoi (La Guarda) along the CAI 805 path to Passo Finestra and from where, with the CAI 801 path, you reach the refuge. This itinerary is more demanding because it overcomes a difference in height of over a thousand meters and requires approximately 3 hours of walking for the ascent only.

Location: Northern sides of the Vette Feltrine
Access: Take the Regional Road towards Fiera di Primiero to Imer, where you turn right following the signs for Val Noana. The asphalt road, steep and narrow, climbs up to the Fonteghi refuge, from here you continue for another 2 kilometers until you reach a clearing where you can park.
Signage: CAI path 727
