Spectacular and panoramic climb along the military road that climbs from the Croce d’Aune pass to the Dal Piaz refuge.
From the Passo Croce d’Aune, take the road that leads to the Dal Piaz refuge. After the first part in the woods, the road climbs, with a constant slope and with a series of wide hairpin bends, along the steep southern slopes of the Vette Feltrine, to reach the Dal Piaz refuge. From the refuge you retrace your steps for about 200 meters, until the crossroads for the Monsampian hut (CAI 810 signpost). From the junction, a comfortable and almost flat mule track leads to the Monsampian hut (1,015 m).
The return takes place in the same way as the outward journey.
