The museum includes permanent and temporary exhibits dedicated to various issues linked to the life of man in the mountains, with original and modern layouts also employing multimedia supports.
The adaptations to the life in the mountains, wet nursing, emigration, domestic animals and the economy linked to them, diet habits: these are only some of the themes dealt with in the exhibit. The museum also preserves the collection of mountain art of the mountaineer and writer Giuseppe Mazzotti.

Museum Didactic proposals for 2019/2020
The Museum offers a rich panorama of didactic activities for schools, dedicated to children and young people, and a programme of educational activities aimed at adults and elder people.
This year’s news concern activities and itineraries that will take place at the Giardino delle Rose. There also the classic museum itineraries that could be enriched by new manual laboratories, for a complete educational experience to be held inside and outside the museum.
